The following description comes from the event organizer.

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival is one of the premier Festivals in the Pacific Northwest. The Festival draws over 100,000 visitors annually to the Wenatchee Valley during this 11-day event.

Blossoms, brews, bikes and more are coming to the Wenatchee Valley from April 25 to May 5. Washington’s oldest major festival is celebrating its 105th year in 2024.

The Apple Blossom Festival stems from the dedication of Sue Wagner, a Wenatchee transplant from New Zealand. Recognizing Wenatchee as a major apple growing area and the contribution of women to the growth of America, Wagner organized the first Apple Blossom Festival in May of 1920.

Over the last century, the festival has drawn visitors from across the globe to enjoy the family-oriented community celebration that showcases Wenatchee Valley’s people, heritage and fruit industry.

The festival will include many activities and events over the course of 11 days, here are some highlights:

-       Memorial Park Food Fair

-       GESA Credit Union Entertainment Stage

-       Blossoms and Brews Beer Garden

-       Funtastic Shows Carnival

-       TekniPlex Youth Parade

-       Apple Blossom Musical

-       Arts and Crafts Fair

-       Classy Chassis Parade and Car Show

-       Annual Downtown Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast (May 4th)

-       Annual Apple Blossom Airshow (May 4th)

-       Vintage Grace Market (May 11th)
